LARRY KEAST

Venturetech founder Larry Keast launches America in Recovery, a web-based initiative designed to promote hiring “unemployables.”

Most companies use employment screening and background checks to avoid hiring convicts and substance abusers. But those are exactly the kind of people Venturetch founder Larry Keast looks for. In fact, he's promoting that practice through a new web site called America in Recover. According to Keast, the people he's found through his program are among the best workers he's hired in his company's 25 history.

The America in Recovery site allows job seekers to enter their resume information, and lets employers search the database and contact potential employees for interviews. There's no charge to use the site, which Keast funds with his own money.
