The Dover Club Presents: Barbara Spier

Barbara Spier is president of U.S. Protection and Investigations, a full-service security and investigations firm with corporate offices here in Houston. She loves being a “private eye” as her career never has a dull moment! Barbara is very active in women's organizations and is this year's president-elect of the Federation of Houston Professional Women. She is married to Del Spier, an international security consultant for the government who is now on a long-term assignment in Afghanistan and may soon be called to Iraq. They have five grown children.

Barbara's topic for this month's meeting will be “ How to be Your Own Investigator .” She is licensed by the Texas Commission on Private Security and is a member of many related organizations in the field of investigations and security. She will have numerous sources and tips on what you can do to acquire your own information, as well as tell you about some interesting cases!
