Michael Hick

Michael Hick was born and educated in England at St. Peter's School, York and Oxford University. His career with global insurance monolith Lloyd's of London took him to almost every nook and cranny of the world.

He arrived in Houston in the late seventies to develop big-ticket energy related business

for Lloyd's when the technology for deep water discoveries was developing fast and international oil and gas expansion was changing the Houston skyline.

He built a transatlantic insurance and reinsurance business and helped to make Houston a major international center for the huge energy insurance industry. As director of Houston based Global Business Initiatives. Michael advises companies throughout the world on their international expansion strategies.
