HP Marathon mile marker 6.5 Water

The Dover Club had a good showing at the
2005 HP Marathon. We provided Gatorade
and water to the over 17.000 participants.
The weather was perfect, although a bit
chilly.
The group rallied around Pat Jones as
she passed mile marker 6.5 and then John
Sturtevant, who was walking the marathon,
when he stopped and requested a beer.
Most of the group went to to Katz's for
brunch. Special thanks to Kay Quick for
coordinating this event!
